Paddington Central is a premium development built on land previously owned by Sydney Water and housed part of the Sydney’s early water supply system the site is set behind the remains of a 19C water reservoir in Oxford Street Paddington. The project was designed whilst the reservoir was derelict and collapsing and was part of a municipal plan to form the southern edge of a new public space.
Paddington Central building was completed for occupancy in early 2003. It accommodates 47 one, two and three-bedroom residential apartments, with the penthouse occupying Level 6. There is a resident’s security car park which is accessed via Renny Lane and includes several visitor car parks.
